Our name has changed, but our service remains the same.

Anthem Church Supply is an evolution of a company with a rich history in liturgical supply. Owned and operated by Jerry and Mark Heying, Anthem has spent over nineteen years building long-term loyalty with our suppliers, customers and employees.

In 1957, founder Jerry Heying moved to San Diego, California from his native Nebraska and began working as a shipping clerk for a church goods dealer. After twenty-five years of hard work and dedicated service, Jerry earned the position of one-third owner before he left in 1987.

Upon leaving the church business, Jerry began to receive phone calls from his former clients and realized that he had left behind something that he truly loved -- helping the clergy meet their needs with the proper materials for worship.

Jerry founded San Diego Church Supply in 1987 and has grown to become a primary liturgical supplier of the Southwestern United States. Jerry’s son Mark joined the company in 1989 and San Diego Church Supply moved to its current location in Escondido, California.

Over the years, the company has grown to include a national base and is focused on the future of online sales and service for the church. Anthem Church Supply has invested in the infrastructure needed to make customer online ordering simple, organized and quick; and has rebranded the company to reflect the tastes and style of the modern clergy.

Even though the name has changed, the service behind it has not. We’re still the same dedicated team waiting to answer your call and find a solution to your worship needs.
